Exchange 2010 RTM?

2009-11-09 Thread TBarnhart
Hi all,

I was just on our Volume License website and there are download links dated as
yesterday/today for Exchange 2010 Standard and Enterprise...
And I just noticed the Forefront Protection 2010 for Exchange dated as two
weeks ago...

I thought we were still months out on these. Is this correct that this is the
RTM?

RE: How to remove an 2003 Exchange server

2009-08-07 Thread TBarnhart
Seriously, The only way - to cleanly remove those last Ex2k/2k3 servers from
your Ex2k7 environment - is to run the uninstall process on the last server.

How to Remove the Last Legacy Exchange Server from an Organization:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb288905.aspx

Go to this header:
To remove the last Exchange 2003 or Exchange 2000 server from an Exchange 2007
organization

I did this process around this time last year. We jumped from Ex2k to Ex2k7.

It's simpler than that! Turn off Virtual Server, delete.
Ok, let's re-phrase, what do I need to do in my Exchange environment to remove
my old E2K3 server

I update to E2k7 about 5 months ago and still have my E2k3 running, anyone have
a link to the procedure to remove the E2kK3 server?

99% of the time - it's a corrupt object or too many objects (+1000) in the

Subject: Single User with Free Busy Time issue

Hi Guys

I've got a single, very senior user, who has an issue with seeing other users
free busy times. It doesn't appear to matter whether it's on the same server or
on another site. Eventually suggestions time out and the free busy bar goes to
the hashed grey line of no data available.

Anyone got any ideas? I've tried with both cached mode on and off with no luck.

It's Exchange Server 2007 SP1 and the user is using Outlook 2007 SP2.
