RE: Please, help! HD Full! What to do? (Part 2)
you can delete log files out of \imcdata\out\archive and \imcdata\in\archive while services are running & you can delete log files out of \imcdata\logs while services are not running. do not delete any other log files. if the above frees enough space, restart the services and run an online backup. -Original Message- From: Eric [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, December 03, 2001 8:38 AM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: Please, help! RE: Off-Topic, Modem Pooling
we use SpartaCom's Asynchronous Port Sharing Software (SAPS) in conjunction with a DigiBoard. I got the following info. from Microsoft's web site. SAPS is a 3rd party modem sharing solution for Windows NT. SAPS allows computers on a network to access pooled modems for outbound calls. Even if you configure one or more modem ports for outbound calls, you can still receive calls from the Windows NT Remote Access Service if the port isn't currently in use. SpartaCom does not currently support RAS client dial-out on their shared modems.SpartaCom can be reached by phone by calling (404) 455-0701 or by fax at (404) 457-9500. The location of SpartaCom's World Wide Web page is WWW.SPARTACOM.BE (European) or WWW.TSPCO.COM (North American). -Original Message-From: Michael Morisoli [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]Sent: Monday, January 07, 2002 4:23 PMTo: MS-Exchange Admin IssuesSubject: Off-Topic, Modem Pooling Sorry about the OT, but does anybody have any recommendations for an out-bound modem pooling solutions (Yuck, I hate modems) I have a large group of users that need to dial us using pcAny to remote clients to provide tech-support. Thanks. -Original Message- From: Morse, George [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, July 09, 2002 3:04 PM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: RE: Restore I don't believe so. Server Name and Domain Accounts (SIDs) are part of it's site configuration. Without it the IS won't start. For an offline disaster recovery you need an offline PDC with current SAM and Server with same name.
