Re: Directory Import from another organization
Mailbox information? What version of Exchange? Yes, it matters. There are export/import procedures that are scriptable. Mr Snook probably has something canned. RE: Directory Import from another organization
If you know how to do it manually then just use the file you have with the admin /i command line. That's really all there is to automating it! I have some scripts that will allow the other organisation to send to a particular mailbox on your system and will unwrap the import file and import it for you, if that's of any use. Any solution will be based on knowing the structure of the data you're receiving. If it's in standard import/export format, it's easy-peasy! William - It's actually Dr. Snook. I didn't go through 8+ years of college to be called MR!! ;-) Kevin -Original Message- From: Lefkovics, William [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 28 December 2001 09:38 To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: Re: Directory Import from another organization Mailbox information? RE: Directory Import
You'll need to script those. They are not set in Exchange, hence you can't import the settings into Exchange. -Original Message- From: Manubay, James Francis L.
