Re: OWA Default page can not be dispalyed.

2002-07-01 Thread Matthew Carpenter

Looks like someone changed the IIS settings to
force SSL. They should be using SSL anyway.

There is not a problem from what I can see. You do
not want them accessing mail over port 80.

If it is really a problem, I would add a redirector
such as so that users do not complain
about the "error page". GL

Subject: OWA Default page can not be
  dispalyed.

  Configuration:

  Windows 2000
  Server SP2
  Exchange 2000
  SP2
  Certificate
  installed.

  If a user tries to
see the OWA default page they get the page cannot be displayed message, this
is something that started to happen a couple days ago, usually they are able
to go to this unsecured page and then when they click to login they get the
login to access the SSL site.
  For example:

I go to http://mysite.com and I get the  page cannot
  be displayed message.
If I type https://mysite.com I get to the page with no
  problems.

  I know that
regular http connections are made over port 80 and SSL connections use port
443 I spoke to the person in charge of the firewall and they told me that
nothing has been changed. I am also able to access the default page with no
problems within our intranet. Does anyone know what could be causing this
  problem?

  Thank
  you,
