OWA Installation Error

2002-04-12 Thread Dave Bontjes

I am trying to setup OWA 5.5 for the first time on a stand alone NT 4
server. I have installed IIS and applied all service packs. Now when I
try to install OWA it gives me an installation error:

OWA failed to install properly

An unknown error has occurred

Unknown facility 076a-c00e

I looked it up on Microsoft's site and they say it is caused by a
corrupted version of Veritas Backup Exec Software (Q294700). I have never
installed Veritas Backup Exec. I have also tried removing the NT backup
programs and then reapplying service packs. I still cannot get past this
error message.

Anyone else had problems with this?

You installed IIS from the NT 4.0 Option pack, right? Not the IIS that comes
with NT 4.0.
