Have you tried clearing the password cache?
1. open control panel
2. open user accounts
3. manage user accounts
4. go into advanced
5. manage passwords
From there I don't recall, but there is a place to reset/remove any cached =
credentials.
May not be entirely accurate, but should point you in the right direction.

Reboot of the client solved the problem.
It was a one off thing so we just blew it off.
Thought about AD update lag of some sort, but didn't put too much time into=
it.
