RE: Contact Entry List Problem

2002-01-11 Thread Jim Holmgren

Is he by any chance running a Palm Pilot? I've seen issues where older
versions of Intelli-synch (I think that's what its called) mark all of a
person's contacts as Private and no one else can see them. Check a few of
his contacts for the private checkbox. Its located in the very lower
right-hand corner of the main contact info page.

I am experiencing a unique problem with Exchange 5.5 (SP3) and Outlook 2000.
A user in our company is running Outlook 2000. He has two administrative
assistants that have access (Permissions=Publishing Editor) to his mailbox.
When either of the assistants creates a new Contact, after pressing Save
Close, the contact immediately disappears from their view of his Contacts.
However, on his (the user's) Contact list, the new contact appears. I have
no idea what is happening here - any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the insight. Unfortunately he is a laptop user - not running a
Palm Pilot. I'll check for the Private listing. Thanks.
