RE: Email Disclaimers
In some places, it is a legal requirement to put them in place, to ensure confidentiality and freedom of information laws can be enforced. Additionally, in some cases, if an employee of a company writes an email which could get the company in trouble, a properly worded disclaimer can protect the company's directors and shareholders from any potential problems that may arise from the email. In terms of doing this in Exchange 2000, stuff like Mime Sweeper, and other mail virus software can do this, and you can customize the message to include a disclaimer as well as a certification of the mail being swept for virii. You can also write an Event Synch in Exchange 2000 (not that I have done this) which will append the disclaimer to every mail leaving the organisation, and all that will cost you is time spent creating and testing. You can probably use E2K Polices to specify which users have the event applied to them so you have a little more control in testing (if you don't have a test bed that is!) That brings up another point... for every Exchange2000 CAL you are able to use Outlook2000/2002 as a mail client. Why still Outlook98? But, yes, the simplest and cheapest route would be client side signatures or *gulp* stationery.
