I have done as the event test suggested and removed and then re-added the Exchange server to the "Exchange Domain Servers" group. The event log continues to show these events. I don't know how long this has been going on but I noticed it when trying to diagnose another problem: New users added via AD Users and Computers are unable to receive email from the Internet. Internal delivery via corp workgroup (Outlook2K) mode or SMTP (Outlook Express) works fine. Email sent to the same user's SMTP address results in the following error. Anyone have any thoughts on this? The server in question is a Windows2000 member server running Exchange2000 w/ SP2 applied. Just to reiterate...existing old users are able to receive mail from the Internet just fine. I'm not sure if these event ID's are related to the delivery problem but I thought I'd include them for the sake of completeness. There are no other apparent error events in the event log.
