Title: RE: Having trouble getting in to the Administrator account

That
didn't work. My personal account is the Exchange admin account, but when I
try to set up a new Internet mail account with the name of Administrator and my
password, it won't accept it and gives me a dialog box to enter a new
password. I tried the procedure below, but don't get any messages in that
inbox. I know there are messages in the Administrator inbox because I can go to
the Exchange Administrator and look at the private folder resources and see that
the messages are there.

Also,
when I try to change the administrator's mailbox in the IMC property pages, the
IMC service won't restart.

Does
anyone have any ideas what could be the matter?

  Is
your personal account an Exhange administration account? Ie can you
access other mailboxes with your login? If so add the administrator box
as a secondary account under Outlook ( Tools|services|Microsoft Exchange
Server|properties|advanced) and you should be able to see the mail using the
folder view to switch to the Administrator account. This is the method
my boss and I use to check each other's mail and also to check accounts for
  users.

Change the account assigned to the mailbox to your personal
one and see if you can open it that way.

account
Help.
I recently re-installed Exchange 5.5 after reconfiguring the
entire network. I can access all my other mailboxes just fine, but
when I try to access the Administrator account, it comes back and asks me
for my userid and password, which I give as Administrator and the
administrator password. It won't take it, and keeps re-asking. I
can cancel out, but I really want to the bounced e-mail.
Any thoughts on what is going on?
