Could be, but it's difficult to tell with the information given. If the logs grow at an alarming rate but eventually stop, then it's not necessarily a mail loop. Enabling circular logging is not a long term solution to a mail loop; you would think the problem mailbox and thus the store would start to grow excessively! Hehehe, No prob on the novice dude, but you really need to read up on exchange. How did you get stuck administering this box? Those are called transaction logs. Simple in short, they are part of a disaster recovery and database consistency routine that is very common in db server type applications. Don't mess with them, they are committed in full to the db when you do an online backup.
