So long as I don't screw it up by removing the original server before I have
everything correctly configured I can live with that. I guess I was more
concerned that I did not really find any documentation about this needing to
be done.

This part sucks if you have an extended PF tree.
But pfadmin.exe from the BackOffice Resource Kit will ease your burden.
There is an article by Drew Nicholson on its proper use at swynk.com I
think.

I am in the final stages of moving to a new exchange server using Ed
Crowely's Server move method. The old server was the first exchange server
in the site. All the mailboxes have been moved and I believe I have covered
all of the items in the items in both ECSMM and Q152959. My concern is when
I look at the properties of most of the Public folders they still show the
Home Server to be the old server under the Advance properties tab. Only
those that I explicitly changed following these documents e.g. OAB,
Sched+Free show the home server to be the new one. I would have assumed that
all the public folders would have automatically changed. Do they have to be
individually changed or did I miss something.
