Is it possible to add to the Master Category list, and have it show up for all users of the public folder? b.Is it possible to make a default view of the public folder showing specific columns and information? I understand that Outlook is a client-side application, therefore making it difficult to make the above changes, but I need to know for sure, so I can inform my manager. What she's trying to accomplish is creating an IT project list, to keep track of the big stuff that's on the horizon. I don't think she wants to go the Microsoft Project route. RE: Public folders questions
To add to MBS on this one, the new WSS 3.0 is much more intuitive and easier to manage than WSS 2.0 or SPS 3.0 If you have never used the software before, a book by Bill English or Ted Patterson might make your life better, but once you understand the setup its not to bad to produce some useful sites. -troy From: Joe Heaton [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, July 23, 2008 9:54 AM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: RE: Public folders questions Anyone know of a cheaper alternative to Sharepoint?
