50k legit emails or just total? If not legit, look into greylisting. That can seriously reduce the total ammount of mail to hit your MTA and require a DNSBL lookup. RE: Spamhaus
Yes you are correct I got the info from Promodag! So I guess it does not include the stuff that Spamhaus and IMF already has blocked but I still cannot see it. 400 k for Spamhaus and 50k Real e-mail I have no idea how much IMF catches but let's say 100k / month, that's a total of 550k messages / month, they are allowing 80k / day! I'm I missing something here? Anyhow Spamcop + cbl.abuset.org is about half as affective as Spamhaus and I cranked up IMF to 8 and 4 and life is good again! __ Stefan Jafs -Original Message- From: Micheal Espinola Jr [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, February 15, 2008 13:26 To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: Re: Spamhaus 50k legit emails or just total? You don't look like you qualify for the free service. Use of the SBL is free for individuals operating small mail servers as long as your email traffic is low. Commercial users, corporate networks and ISPs need to purchase a yearly subscription to use the service: see DataFeedhttp://www.spamhaus.org/datafeed/index.html.
