2011-10-26 Thread Maglinger, Paul
So any mailbox that you have full control of, the mailbox will automagically
appear in your folder list?

If he has full control to the mailbox, this is by design.

In process of migrating from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010. A manager is
running Outlook 2010 and has already been migrated to the Exchange 2010 server.
He recently (after he was migrated) added an additional mailbox to be opened.
Now he no longer needs it but it won't let him remove it. It no longer shows
up in the additional mailboxes but the mailbox still shows up in the folder
list. He can open it and review all the folders. Anyone seen this before?

Yes. With Exchange 2010 sp1 and Outlook 2010. I think OL 2010 sp1 provides a
registry key you can set to stop that behavior, but I'd have to look it up.

Interesting because when I checked the Manage Full Access settings for that
user there was another person listed there and he doesn't have that mailbox
show up in his folder list. ...?

This appears to only behave this way if you grant Full Access to the user. If
you grant it to a group, this doesn't occur.
