Hi all,



I have ex 5.5sp4 NT4 sp6a my
priv.edb is about 13g in size.  In
outlook 2002 a message box appears saying requesting info from exchange server.  The database has been optimized but it still
has a time lag.  The server cpu and
memory never really gets above 40%



Any ideas.

is apparently by design, and is only new in that the box appears -- ie, your 
Outlook2K and 98 did the same thing, it just didn't tell 
you.

I just made the same mistake and upgraded to 2002. One thing I found was to
turn off the formatting that automagically pulls out the extra lines. For
the most part, the only time I see the da@@ box is if I'm looking at
archives.
