RE: Unable to add "from" and "bcc" fields
Outlook is in Corporate Mode--is there a known issue here? I figured it had something to do with my customization with the .mst file... I need the "from" field so I can reply back to someone as our postmaster account instead of me (I know I can get around this another way in the meantime, but I previously had the "from" field). Other users on our network also appear to have the same problem and some will likely need bcc. Anyone know a reg entry or Q article that might help? I and many others here will all say... 'Do Not Use Word as your Email editor!' It sucks and manages to cause more problems than it solves. My $.02... :o) D -Original Message- From: Miller Bonnie L. RE: Unable to add "from" and "bcc" fields
Bonnie, Glad that worked for you. Unfortunately I am not real familiar with the Word as E-Mail editor so I can't offer any suggestions there. Also, since it sounds like this was caused by dynamic menus, here are a couple additional tips in case you get calls from your users. At the bottom of the menu you should see two down arrow heads. If you click on those you will see the hidden menu items, after you use this feature it then appears without needing to click on the down arrows. In addition, if you want to turn off dynamic menus so that all options are visible all the time here are the steps to disable this feature: On the Tools menu of Outlook select Customize. On the Options tab you will see a check box for "Always Show Full Menus" Peter Dahl. -Original Message- From: Miller Bonnie L. It didn't work with Word as the e-mail editor, but as soon as I turned that off, I was able to use Alt-V+I and Alt-V+B (my guess worked :> ) to add the from and bcc fields. Interestingly, they are both now available on my view menu to turn on and off as I please. When switching back to word as the e-mail editor, the fields are there, but there is no "on/off" checkbox on the view menu. -Bonnie M. -Original Message- From: Dahl, Peter [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, September 19, 2001 7:48 AM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: RE: Unable to add "from" and "bcc" fields Is it possible these menu commands are just hidden?
