Workflow Designer

Is this part of Exchange 2000,  I am trying to get to grips with the
environment and am finding reference to this but how do I access it etc.

In MSDN online, the section called:
Developing Workflow Applications for Exchange Server

I also have Mindy Martin's book which has a good chapter (ch10) on workflow
applications.  
The book is Programming Collaborative Web Applications with Microsoft
Exchange 2000 Server

Because the Workflow applications extend to Office and SQL, there is a
decent learning curve, at least for the coding- deficient folks like me.
