[expert] Problems while logging in with GDM

2003-07-16 Thread David G. Alcantara

Dear people,

I have installed Mandrake 8.1 with gdm and gnome. Everything worked
very well untill a sudden shutdown last week. Since then I
am experiencing the following problem: when I try to login in the system with
gdm as root there is no problem but if I try to login in as normal user the
system log me out and I return to the gdm login shell.

I think during the shutdown something in my gdm.conf changed but I
don't know what could it be. I would appreciate any help.

Thank you very much in advance

David
