Just seems like a problem of EOL : You've got an option to correct that with
printtool.

[expert] xdm

1999-05-25 Thread JORGE José

I've got a strange problem with xdm :

I want to change the default text of xdm : X system login

So I change Xressources. If I install everything of my Festen (1.0 Gb), there
is no problem. But if I just check what I need : X + wine, xdm don't care about
my Xressources, it displays the default text !

I've tried ask for a full install, and then picking out what I don't need;
that's the same thing. I just can get out the docs ;-) Well I have 400 Mb
machines and haven't found the way to get the xdm text properly.

Could anybody help? (Telling me what xdm uses) I've read all mans.

Did you look the START folder on the desktop ? If it isn't that, maybe the
.xsession file in your home directory.

Did you expand the tgz that came with the rpm (in the same directory) if yes,
the problem is just that your isn't done because you wrote it reversely.

"ln file link" and not "ln link file"

I think you're running as root. You can't telnet as root (as far as I know). So
create a user, telnet with him, and use SU to be root.

I had the same problem : to resolve it, I linked the server with
usr/X11R6/bin/XF86_XBF_i740 and it worked

to link : ln usr/X11R6/bin/XF86_XBF_i740 usr/X11R6/bin/XBF_i740

Maybe you should try giving just the 16 bit dma.

I think your problem is that Windows didn't manage caps letters correctly, so
try to burn without adding anything, then add a second session. Then this
should be fine.

1999-04-20 Thread JORGE José

Hi,

I've putted up a firewall with no securities. Because all I need is love (no

if I connect from behind the firewall to the net by ftp. this way, all I can do
is cd or pwd, if I try a ls or get, I've got a time-out .

Here's my ipfwadm config :

ipfwadm -F -f
ipfwadm -F -p accept
ipfwadm -F -a m -S 192.168.2.0/24 -D 0.0.0.0/0
