It is´nt any bad idea, 
I´m Agree. but I leaned so much reading the MDK
problems in another lenguage as the english.
 
Nothing like our beautiful languaje El español.

[expert] pppd conection monitor on win9x

Hello...

I configured a sistem with wvdial, I setup wvdiald
is a script for dialing on demand, the diald does not
work properly that I want. (some times It works other
not.)

The thing I want is that the user can see if there is
conection to the internet (I have linux box with modem
as a gateway)

well I tried with dialmon for the other machines on
the network, (using diald of course.) but it does not
work it always says something as bad user or password.

So any body knows if there is a win9x pppd monitor
??
