I tried the above URL for fortify.net and got the infamous 404 Not Found. I believe you wanted to point users to https://www.fortify.net/sslcheck.html Something to note: fortify.net's ssl certificate expired on March 07, 2001, 13 days ago. Whether this has any implications Ill leave up to the experts to explain. Cheers Kevin
[expert] 128bit encryption mozilla -- correction
Dear William and friends: To check your encryption, go to: http://www.fortify.net Then click on Readme at the bottom of the page. Then look for the section "After Installation". Unfortunately, I inadvertently added "Readme" to the URL, which brings up a blank page. Yours, Benjamin -- Sher's Russian Web http://www.websher.net Benjamin and Anna Sher [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: [expert] 128bit encryption mozilla
Dear William and friends: The Mozilla tarballs all include 128-bit encryption (i.e. the Mozilla PSM -- Personal Security Management) program. You can tell by going to your bank or to Fortify (http://www.fortify.net/Readme/After Installation). The rpms are separate. There are three separate rpm: Mozilla, Mozilla-PSM and Mozilla-mail. You need to download the Mozilla-PSM to get the same encryption protection. Once again, you can test Mozilla at any secure sight, preferably at Fortify and you'll see that it's 128-bit encryption. A final point: The Mozilla rpms also include Mozilla-devel for those who need it. Benjamin -- Sher's Russian Web http://www.websher.net Benjamin and Anna Sher [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[expert] 128bit encryption mozilla
I know that all the later versions of Mandrake Netscape are 128 bit encryted enabled. What I can't seem to find is what level Mozilla is? Could someone tell me what either the mandrake rpms or .8 mozilla are "rated" at? It is probably obvious, but not to me :) Thanks William Bouterse Talkeetna, Ak
