I'm using 8.2 with the smp kernel (Tyan S2466 2xAthlon MP1600+) and a Matrox G450 for two heads and Voodoo3 PCI for the third head.
If I use menudrake to add a program, not only do I immediately drop to the "dumbed down" menu, I lose displays :0.1 and :0.2 after logging back in and the system becomes unstable (especially kmail and konqueror). Deleting the ~/.kde/share/applink* directories restores everything. Almost. As an after-effect, the time display in :0.2 reads 4 hours ahead of the other two displays. Very, very strange. -- Hoyt http://www.maximumhoyt.com Fix it until it breaks.
