i think i can't use with the actual BETA 3 of mandrake It's for 2.2.14 with pre patch 2.2.15. And why SUSE 6.4 eval work well ? Anybody have installed the BETA 3 with a HPT366 ata/66 disk ?? Thanks ! Should have given the actual driver for Linux as http://www.highpoint-tech.com/ide.2.2.15-17.2405.patch.bz2 BTW this is unzipped in linux using bzip2 -d ide.2.2.15-17.2.patch.bz2 and then use the regular patch installation routines for your version of Linux. Hi ! I have a problem with my ATA/66 HD. It's a HPT366 onboard (Soyo 6BA +IV M/B) controler. My disk is Master. The installation hang on IDE probe part at the begining of installation. The module is: ide-probe.o someone can help me on that ? I have to WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT RELEASE ? (I hope no !!) For your info, I have try SUSE 6.4 eval and he work well with my controler.
