This is just my opinion, but i don't think you can consider any out-of-the-box
installation
"secure for your needs." Security of a server needs your (or someone's) personal
attention to get
set up properly. It also needs to be maintained - it's an old addage now that security
is a
process, not a static state. There's many a rant that could be tacked onto this but
i'll leave it
at that.
I'll add that i don't know anything about Trustix, or Mandrake Corporate Server either
for that
matter. Even so, i'd bet dollars to donuts that at least one of my boxes (all with
various
versions of Mandrake Linux, "development" installation but severely
configured/changed) is
serving, or can serve, ssh or qmail more securely than an out-of-the-box installation
of either of
them.
I see more than my eyes do.
