About the list-bot... Normally the bot only sends duplicate messages under two conditions other than member error. About 3 times a year it seems to take a vacation and when it does everyone gets double and triple messages. Messages also seem to get fouled when the weather is bad, most notably in the winter and rainy seasons. Our four-state weather has been horrible for a week. I've received very few messages but only one has been in duplicate. Now this same nasty blizzard type weather is moving into the Midwest and East coast where root servers are located. The forecast is for -40 to -60 wind chill. I know it's going to affect the telco lines where I live even though we are a hub and I am 5-blocks from the switch. That said, I am positive that Mandrake is aware of the issues and is listening and will resolve the problem as soon as possible. Duplicate messages are irritating but is the price we occassionally pay for this service. Pj
