BUT, my 7.1 setup has a /home partition and a /usr/local (where I keep UT and quake3 ;) partition. I keep these between upgrades. -- Stephen Keep in touch with http://mandrakeforum.com: Subscribe the "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" mailing list.

[expert] Linux Mandrake 7.2 starting to appear
Hi All, It looks like 7.2 is starting to appear on mirrors. The interesting bit is that the tutorials that are on linux-mandrake.com appear to be included in the distro. Good Idea !! For those interested, you can look at http://ftp.sun.ac.za/linux/distributions/linux-mandrake/mandrake/7.2/i586/tutorial/ (our local unofficial mirror) I wonder if they included the offline achive of muo ? That would also have been useful. Oh well, time to wait until the mirror is complete. Buchan P.S. For those of you who will be downloading via modem, it's too bad. When mandrake appears on the mirror, it will be 15 minutes per iso (10 Mbps) from here! -- |--| Buchan MilneMechanical Engineer, Network Manager Cellphone +27824722231 email mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Centre for Automotive Engineering http://www.cae.co.za South Africas first satellite:http://sunsat.ee.sun.ac.za Control Models http://www.control.co.za |Registered Linux User #182071-| Keep in touch with http://mandrakeforum.com: Subscribe the "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" mailing list.
