na, I think old Jimmie is learning and just subscribed to both the newbie and
the expert list and sent a blank mail to each by mistake, my guess

I think this is the outpourings of a very old virus (one of the Outlook
"read the address book and fire off emails from its contents" type); I
remember a problem like this cropping up easily 2 or 3 years ago on one of
my mailing lists.

yep, I think it is either someone "harvesting" good e-mail address (ie.; no
bounce in the first min, must be a "good" address with a valid e-mail box)
but I have noticed about a week later, the same domain but a different sender
finds a klez or a nimda mail sent to me also, (just three attachments, one of
which is an *.exe or *.pif or *.com etc) the one I liked was the second from
the same address, that said "Symantec has a removal tool for Klez32", and it
was Klez.

Are they really blank, or are they HTML messages with nothing but a
dirty little JavaScript payload? Or, perhaps they are HTML messages
with nothing but a 1 pixel image designed so the address harvester can
cull a list...
