Edit /etc/fstab, and changing "supermount" to "auto" should do it.

I don't know that you can.  I'd suggest reading the documentation.  As for
the help window, I'd bet that's set in a startup file somewhere: look in
~/.gnome or ~/.gnome-session.  I can't remember the exact directory names,
not having used GNOME in a long time.

add a mark at /etc/fstab supermount line, than type mount -a.

Love Mandrake 7 so far, although I'm pretty much a Linux newbie.

2 questions that I haven't been able to figure out- how do I turn off
supermount, and how do I get rid of the warning message that automagically
pops up every time I start X as root, along with the gnome help window and
the gnome explorer?
