Ok. I Tried upgrading sane and xscanimage to 7.1 versions, and it broke xscanimage. Locks up for a hard reboot. Went back to 7.0 cd and there is no xscanimage package. Just Sane. Replaced 7.1 sane with 7.0 and xscanimage is back and it works. So maybe the 7.1 is only broken in sane/xscanimage. At least as far as my setup goes. -- Michael H.
