Hi Praedor described quite strongly situation,which I have also noticed... And I qot that mess AFTER I "upgraded first into KDE 2.2.2,where all worked ok.
Then after upgrading XFree86 into vers.4.2.0 all begun....Exactly same errors.... I have disabled artsd,so I don't get anymore "so" much error-reports. Had in mind to downgrade,but it seems,that 8.2 is waiting at the door, so fresh install and life is good after...eh? Greetings Jarmo
