Netconf is part of the Linuxconf package.  IMHO, it's was too
bloated, using far too many strange scripts that do god-knows-what to your
system.  I've also seen many strange problems when you choose "Activate
Changes".  Besides that, every time I try using it I get some sort of
error message.

apply to the Mandrake's RPM ?.

The difference is that our binaries are smaller cos we have stripped
them. RedHat did not.

  First one is from update.redhat.com, second from Mandrake updates.
Why there's such difference? Aren't we missing something? :)
