Last time I tried to upgrade RPM etc., I got caught in an endless cycle of dependencies and eventually gave up. So, at the moment, I am waiting on 8.2 to solve the problem for me. Brian. One of the things I found is that sometimes it's better to download the necessary RPM's into the same directory and then install ALL the rpm's from the command line (i.e. rpm -Fvh *.rpm) rather than using rpmdrake.
