Does linux have same program snoop in Solaris?

how do I get it and install?

I would like to use it to analysis the network packet?

ethereal/tcpdump should do what you require.

The Linux/BSD equivilant is tcpdump, the syntax is very similar IIRC.
There are also several graphical sniffers you can use from X, since as
Ethereal.
