If you said "y" to enable supermount when you hacked the kernel it won't work.
Supermount needs to run as a module "m".

Are you scared of speed? If so, try Windows NT.

[expert] supermount doesn't work on mdk7.2rc1 ??!

2000-11-10 Thread vs

I tried hack kernel 2.4 and after that it doesn't work "supermount"
man supermount says [-i] enable/desable.
When -i , my /etc/fstab follows:

/dev/hda6 / ext2 defaults 1 1
/dev/hda7 /arh ext2 defaults 1 2
none /dev/pts devpts mode=0620 0 0
/mnt/cdrom  /mnt/cdrom  supermount
fs=iso9660,dev=/dev/cdrom,ro,nosuid,noauto,nodev,exec 0 0
/mnt/floppy /mnt/floppy supermount
fs=vfat,dev=/dev/fd0,nosuid,noauto,nodev,unhide 0 0
/mnt/win_c  /mnt/win_c  supermount
fs=vfat,dev=/dev/hda1,umask=0,nosuid,nodev,exec 0 0
/mnt/win_d  /mnt/win_d  supermount
fs=vfat,dev=/dev/hda5,umask=0,nosuid,nodev,exec 0 0
none /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/hda9 /root ext2 defaults 1 2
/dev/hda8 /usr ext2 defaults 1 2
/dev/hda10 swap swap defaults 0 0

Nothing could be mounted.

Please help.
Lucian
