Unless it was the right Ximian on a version of mandrake it actually supports,
the mess is normal. Several list members do have a few dodges, but we "are
not a priority" for Ximian and FWIW we integrate everything of Ximian but the
Ximian look and feel into the Gnome we provide.

Still for those users here who have studied the situation, they would want to
know what version of Mandrake you are using and perhaps also what version of
Ximian. If you were using mandrake 8.0 did you enable Gnome-only menus?

[expert] ximian mess

2001-05-25 Thread Bill Kenworthy

Hi,
Ive just installed ximian and have made a right mess of it!.. Does
anyone know what the configuration applet is called. I hope to be able
to start it from an xterm within ximian and undo the damage. The theory
is I have selected multiple windows which are overlaying the main window
and as it does not have a panel I cannot get to the configuration applet
toreselect single. I can get an xterm by clicking on the background,
but thats all so far!
