Hi

You go to controlcenter --->system>services and uncomment
firewall.
Then if you don't want to rebootjust give firewall stop...
Was it /etc/rc.d/init.d/bastille-firewall stop..something like.

I believe if you click on firewall once it will turn on then again to turn
it off. I am not 100% sure tho, but try it.

Subject: [expert] how to uninstall tinyfirewall?

I decided to try the tinyfirewall from the mandrake control center, but it
locked my machine down way too tight. I want to disable tinyfirewall and
make
my own rules for iptables from scratch, but I can't figure out how to do it.

There doesn't seem to be any way to actually turn it off from the control
center
(even though it claims that you can) and I can't find the config files where
they store the configuration to be set on boot.

Can anyone out there help me? I'm not subscribed to the list so if you
could cc
your replies directly to me that would be great.

Thanks,

Chris
