It's worth investigating, for sure. The time is largely taken up by this: IN: scratchpad gc [ "" disk-vocabs-recursive-for-prefix ] time If you want to make a GitHub issue we can track the conversation and improvements. [Factor-talk] Search time on Windows Factor
Hello, everyone. When I launch Windows Factor and do my first search in the browser, it takes quite a long time to get results. It seems that Factor start reading the files it needs to search at the timing. Mac Factor, on the other hand, seems to have done this already, and will quickly display the first search result. Why are there differences between platforms?
