The nation-state Republic has a moral-code. If there is a clash between the two, the 'moral code' of the Republic should take precedence over other 'moral codes'. If any 'religious practice' goes against public order, public health, public morality, then that religious practice should be curbed and eradicated. Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism underwent some reformation process. But its not complete.
