satellite and the internet, hailed the victory of President Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad as a shining example of the rise of collective consciousness

This performance of fixing the election that everyone thought was lost is a
supreme example of the power of our coherence creating groups to counteract
the negativity produced by democratic elections He explained.

Furthermore Iran has a great tradition going back to Vedic times of
maintaining governments in harmony with Natural Law. The disgusting spectacle
of allowing ordinary people, even women, to have a say in the running of a
country has no place in the rising Sat Yuga. This victory is only to be
expected as the rise of collective consciousness created by our powerful

His speech was greeted with rapturous applause by the assembled Rajas and
court attendants, flowers rained from the sky and celestial drums could be
heard along with ringing Bells of Invincibility.

This great victory of the Divine Rulership of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
is yet another example of the Rise of Perfection in World Politics and
 Economy (see http://www.prnewswire.co.uk/cgi/news/release?id=49377) Dr

Barack Obama 'too tired' to give proper welcome to Gordon Brown
Barack Obama's offhand approach to Gordon Brown's Washington visit
last week came about because the president was facing exhaustion over
America's economic crisis and is unable to focus on foreign affairs,
the Sunday Telegraph has been told.

  By Tim Shipman in Washington
  Last Updated: 10:03PM GMT 07 Mar 2009

Sources close to the White House say Mr Obama and his staff have been
overwhelmed by the economic meltdown and have voiced concerns that
the new president is not getting enough rest.

British officials, meanwhile, admit that the White House and US State
Department staff were utterly bemused by complaints that the Prime
Minister should have been granted full-blown press conference and a
formal dinner, as has been customary. They concede that Obama aides
seemed unfamiliar with the expectations that surround a major visit by
  a British prime minister.

But Washington figures with access to Mr Obama's inner circle
explained the slight by saying that those high up in the
administration have had little time to deal with international
matters, let alone the diplomatic niceties of the special
  relationship.

Allies of Mr Obama say his weary appearance in the Oval Office with Mr
Brown illustrates the strain he is now under, and the president's
surprise at the sheer volume of business that crosses his desk.

A well-connected Washington figure, who is close to members of Mr
Obama's inner circle, expressed concern that Mr Obama had failed so
far to even fake an interest in foreign policy.

A British official conceded that the furore surrounding the apparent
snub to Mr Brown had come as a shock to the White House. I think it's
right to say that their focus is elsewhere, on domestic affairs. A
number of our US interlocutors said they couldn't quite understand the
British concerns and didn't get what that was all about.

The American source said: Obama is overwhelmed. There is a zero sum
tension between his ability to attend to the economic issues and his
ability to be a proactive sculptor of the national security agenda.

That was the gamble these guys made at the front end of this
presidency and I think they're finding it a hard thing to do
  everything.

British diplomats insist the visit was a success, with officials
getting the chance to develop closer links with Mr Obama's aides. They
point out that the president has agreed to meet the prime minister for
further one-to-one talks in London later this month, ahead of the G20
  summit on April 2.

But they concede that the mood music of the event was at times
strained. Mr Brown handed over carefully selected gifts, including a
pen holder made from the wood of a warship that helped stamp out the
slave trade - a sister ship of the vessel from which timbers were
taken to build Mr Obama's Oval Office desk. Mr Obama's gift in return,
a collection of Hollywood film DVDs that could have been bought from
any high street store, looked like the kind of thing the White House
might hand out to the visiting head of a minor African state.

Mr Obama rang Mr Brown as he flew home, in what many suspected was an
  attempt to make amends.

The real views of many in Obama administration were laid bare by a
State Department official involved in planning the Brown visit, who
reacted with fury when questioned by The Sunday Telegraph about why
  the event was so low-key.

The official dismissed any notion of the special relationship, saying:
There's nothing special about Britain. You're just the same as the

[FairfieldLife] Re: Significance Global Country of World Peace---Cast System

2009-02-05 Thread menkemeyer
In regards to the system spoken of and which Maharishi
supported totaly, and is mentioned below, the King and the

the fourfold division of labor: brahmin, kshatriya, vaisya, and
sudra.

Now this system which has been outlawed in India for good
reason, the foutfold system of labor, the cast system has been
cruely used by the upper casts to vertualy inslave millions and
millions of people. Having lived in India just catching a bit of the
old India in the 70's and reciently the new India, i found the cast
system still in place ( though strides have been made ) having been
ingrained in the people by the Rajas and Kings, but much more to the
point is it works out quite handly when you want if not slaves, then
indentured servents. Sudras are only allowed the dirtest of jobs and
told they are so polluted that even there presents will pollute the
area. This was clear to me when i saw the dogs of Delhi attacking the
garbage men who clean the streets at night and nobody would come to
there aid. When I ask why nobody helped them when there were being
attacked, i was told they were untouchables as if i were an idiot.
that means they were not worthy of help. This attatude is why
Christianity is growing in India, the sudras belive they are in fact
unworthy for the large part and when someone tells them they are
also the children of God I can't blame them for changing casts, to
becoming christians. Maharish was much against prostilizing as i was
myself untill recently when the reality of the cast system with all
it's gross perversions became real. So this so called fourfold
division of labor is abhorent and He who supports it is ignorent of
the Nature of God, of the absolute which declares we are all One.

Thats my two cents worth.

Dear Friends,

Somthing I can share about KSCI, since I ran the crew that built
the transmitter on top of the mountain, the San Burnadino mountains.
It was a lot of fun, but being metal we were shut down some days as
fire danger was to hight to burn or weild. Anyway, when the
inauguration of the station took place we, the crew was invited. we
also got to go to the Merv Griffin shows. Anyway Maharishi came and
the studio was invatation only but still full. Kinny Loggins came and
sang a song run river run to MMY and it was a big hit of his at
the time, but it took on a whole new meaning when he sang it, like
wow man, this cosmic river flowing through everything.
The TMO never really used KSCI to anywhere near it's potential,
selling time to spanish language shows mostly. But, as licenses
became much harder to get, the place became quite valuable just for
that. So typical of MMY he sold it and of course many many millions
on the deal.
So many of the TMO's greatest places were sold, and they were
going successfully for the movement, just MMY would rather have the
money, which is of course my personal opinion.
I do miss the good old days, but everything changes but me.

2009-01-04 Thread menkemeyer
I think your understanding of Om Nama Shiva is somewhat preverted
from it's true meaning and power. see the following.
Chris

Om Namah Shivaya is known as the great redeeming mantra also known as
five-syllable mantra.

The meaning

It means I bow to Shiva. Shiva is the supreme reality, the inner
Self. It is the name given to consciousness that dwells in all. Shiva
is the name of your true identity your self.

According to Hindu mythology there are three Gods who run this
creation. The Brahma - who creates the universe, the Vishnu - who
preserves the Universe and the Shiva- who in the end destroys the
universe. Among the three deities, Shiva, though considered as
destroyer, also symbolize the - the inner self which remains intact
even after everything ends.

In this mantra the chanter (one who repeats the mantra) bow to Shiva-
his true self.

Om Namah Shivay is a very powerful mantra. It has been said about
this mantra that if this mantra vibrates continually in your heart,
then you have no need to perform austerities, to meditate, or to
practise yoga. To repeat this mantra you need no rituals or
ceremonies, nor must you repeat it at an auspicious time or in a
particular place. This mantra is free of all restrictions. It can be
repeated by anyone, young or old, rich or poor and no matter what
state a person is in, it will purify him.

There's on small problem here - 'Om Namah

just a common Sanskrit phrase. So, you might
as well just say to yourself 'I bow down to
Mr. Varma' or 'I bow down to Pilot Guru'.

Bija mantras are esoteric - they don't have
any semantic meaning. If you've been doing
this for any length of time then it's been
wasted time. You can see what effect this had
 on the Swami Muktananda!

The Muktananda apparently used to chant this
phrase, but he didn't get any esoteric bijas
from his teacher Nityananda - maybe the Mukta
just read it in a booklet somewhere.
