[FairfieldLife] RE: Fighting for a Failed War

2014-01-25 Thread doctordumbass
Yes, We can thank the West for that. Whenever we destabilize a country,
obviously, or covertly, we leave the door open to zealots, who have been
victims of this heavy-handed quest for resources and political influence. The
Taliban and Al Qaida are the shadows we leave behind, after bombing the shit
out of some country, or using silent, deadly drones to violently dismember a
family, or ten.

Fucking over third world countries used to work so efficiently; a puppet
government in our pocket and we were off to the races, citizenry be damned.
Unfortunately, IEDs, cell phones and the Internet changed all that.

Now, things are at a point where we will spend $400 Billion (yes, with a 'B')
on a stealth fighter, that is already over a decade late (F-35), instead of
using that money to directly help ourselves. We keep hoping that if we pour
enough of our weapons into the world, we can somehow return to the good old bad
days, of 'might is right'.

One more thing -- We hear a lot of propaganda by our leaders, about how every
conflict we initiate, is a quest to uplift humanity. I remember that dork, the
last president Bush, repeating, They hate us because we are free. No,
asshole, they hate us, because whoever survived the last missile attack, is
just a little bit pissed off, that his children were killed, instead, and there
isn't enough left of them, for him to bury.

Let's not forget that Afghanistan is known as the graveyard of empires.
Of course the real reason the US was there was so that billions if not
trillions of dollars could be made by the military industrial complex.
It's all about money. So we didn't speed $400B on a stealth fighter,
instead the MIC stole our money.

S3,

It goes to show how the Taliban destroyed the country in the guise of
religion. They became the breeding ground for Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda.
