stagnation and increases expansion while Conservatives add growth and stability
and keeps the Vata from going willy nilly.

Well, no, she does not research her material well.
A good number of her footnotes are bogus in one
respect or another.

See, for example (and there are quite a few
articles that have checked up on her footnotes
and found them, to say the least, wanting):

Limbaugh is a junkie. He thinks and and acts like one.
He's down in my neck of the woods and my colleague who
works with addicts has been told that he's still
scoring pain killers. The guys needs serious detox and

As for Franken being factual, I read the pages and pages of
references he cites in his book, "Lies..."- even looked up a few. As
far as I can tell, he is 100% factual in his book. As for Michael
Moore, I just enjoy his documentaries (the ones about the head of
GM, Roger somebody, and F'911 are the two I've seen).

Can't comment on AC anymore- just have nothing good to say...

I would say that goes along with the syndrome. If you
look into the history of the Neoconservatives, one of
the things that's most strking IMO is how closely they
parallel tyrants from other eras, such as 'Saint'
Dominic and his Inquisition. If you read his writings,
and between the lines, I think you'll get the feeling that
his thinking was remarkably like the thinking that has
been described as the genesis of the Neoconservative
movement. They *knew* that what they were saying was
a lie. They *knew* that all of their social and economic
theories were a lie. But they honestly felt that they
were *needed* lies, and that the people *had* to be fooled
into believing them.

IMO, *of course* she's oblivious. She's 'one-pointed.'
She cannot admit the possibility of another point of
view other than hers that is viable. So when one comes
up, especially if it starts making good points in public,
she 'tunes out.' She literally 'goes away,' to that safe
place within where she knows the Truth and they don't.

There are a lot of these people around these days. My
theory is that they all incarnated here and now because
there are an equal number of people who incarnated here
and how whose intent is to spread light, and these
particular creeps really don't *like* light.

Or the warmakers. It pains me, as a tie-dyed, true-
blue liberal, to admit that perhaps the wisest
statement made about the last 50 years of the
1900s was made by a square, straight, ex-General
Republican President, Dwight David Eisenhower:
"Beware the military-industrial complex."

If there are rakshasas on this planet, that's them.
The Masters Of War.

I would say that Ann Coulter is unique in many ways. Did you catch her on The
Daily Show?
She is quie unsubtle in her sense of humor, or a brilliant (and I do mean the
word literally)
actress. Jon Steward ripped her up and down and sideways and she appeared
oblivious to
his attacks--at best, she appeared confused, but mostly oblivious.

What I think you're feeling is one of the things that
Carlos Castaneda wrote about well -- intent. The person's
intent makes all the difference.

> So there is a real difference between those that say a regrettable
> thing once in a while, vs. some of the commentators out there
> religiously spreading falsehoods and negativity.

Everyone says something regretable, something that does
physical or psychic damage to others, occasionally. We're
all guilty of it. We're all human. No problemo. The thing
that IMO reveals the person's consistent intent is how
*often* they do it.

Ann Coulter does it too often for it to be anything other
than her basic intent in life.

Franklin was making a joke based on the treason laws which would state
that would be the penalty and is what happened to people who did these
things in the past.No one could jump on him for making the statement

believe what you believe. It's kind of like when Matt Lauer

I've read Al Franken's book on "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell
Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right" (excellent by the way,
if for nothing else, its rigorous adherence to factual material, and
the painstaking way that Franken exposes creeps like Rush Limbaugh),
and have heard Michael Moore and Alec Baldwin from time to time on
the news. Each of them has said something off the wall occasionally,
though I've not witnessed it personally.

On the other hand, Ms. Attention Hog, Ann Coulter, spews invective
*every single time* I have seen her on the news. She is in my
estimation a real wacko, pathetically craving the spotlight even at
the cost of her own self respect.

So there is a real difference between those that say a regrettable
thing once in a while, vs. some of the commentators out there
religiously spreading falsehoods and negativity.
