If my experience likes to use the word soul to describe certain realities... Then I can appreciate another's writing, or sacred text... And come to my own conclusions about it. Did you actually read the article that was posted? That's more your stylized dream than what it said. What is touched on was the nine darshanas, or ways of seeing enlightenment, in sutra and tantra. All nine would actually encompass sutra, tantra, both outer and inner and Dzogchen, the non-dual tantras. Each tantra sees reality in a somewhat different way. None postulate a soul.

So, there seems to have been a rivalary, Between the Buddhists and the Vedics; As to which, or who has the best philosophies; Or techniques. This article seems to be saying the Buddhism is superior; Because it offers the world, 'Good Works'... Whereas the Vedas describe a more withdrawal from society; Lifestyle... R.G.
