We don't know if it will have any effect on either initiations or fund raising yet. I noticed that the CBS article use tm and transcendental meditation in their generic and not in the service marked TM and Transcendental Meditation Program sense. I wonder why? Deepak CHopra became world famous due to one such campaign. My very strong impression is that the TMO is starting another such campaign, but rather than focusing on any one individual, as the Chopra publicity campaign did, and as the MMY publicity campaign did years earlier, they are focusing on the technique and it's results directly, leaving out personalities.
