The United States should NOT take on the role of being the
 benefactor
for the government of Iraq ad infinitum. The USA should let the
 Iraqi
develop their own destiny as an independent nation. Peace needs
to
nurtured from the hearts of the Iraqis by themselves and at
their
 own
terms. This is the only way stability in Iraq can be maintained.
 As
such, the US should get out of Iraq as soon as possible.

  Right, survival of the fittest!

No, it is the survival of the smartest that prevails...which is
unfortunate for Bush and his republican followers.

Sorry Off, but in the case of Iraq, it will be survival of the
fittest once
coalition forces leave, should that be before reconciliation takes
place.
Unless of course, your position of the *smartest* is a minority
that can Kowtow
to a more powerful adversary with a bigger sword, convincingly.

You're not getting it yet Dixon. You are in a quagmire. That means
there is no getting out. You, the non-smart, are stuck there, and are
at the mercy of the smarter...ie. the Iranians, Syrians, and the
Russians. You are in a black hole quagmire and are trapped. Now the
Iranians will control your future and the Russians will control them.
That is why you, 'the fittest' have completely lost, to the smarter
ones. However, fortunately there are those smarter than them, and
even they will not prevail. Your big guns won't help you now. You
will be sucked dry of all your money and ego. You can already feel it
sucking away. Warmongers lose. You loose.

Intelligence awakes now. Adios old school.
