No, I mean the fight where he mashed him up with Shotokan moves, then
merely finished him technically with moves that are not viable in a
real fight in the real world.

You will see him dominate with Shotokan more and more as he gets
closer to the goal, but you wouldn't percieve that Curtis, because
 you are clearly inexperienced.

He would have lost without his Shotokan training in this fight, and
 you know it Curtis.

Do you mean the fight where Lyoto failed to stop the fight with
magical Shotokan strikes and eventually used a Jiu jitsu choke to
finally finish a fight instead of having it go to a decision...that

The rest of the world sees a grappling win. You are alone in your
fixation. Lyoto is a great mixed martial artist. You are missing what
makes him great in your desire to be associated with something special.

Yes, if you have not understood Shotokan, then you do not understand,
nor percieve what happened in the fight.

He would have lost without his Shotokan training in this fight, no
question about it.

He is faster, smarter, and more accurate in ALL moves because of his
Shotokan. The guy he was fighting was a judo expert for chrise
sakes !...and Lyota annihalated him at his own game !
That is because Lyota pummeled him with hard and fast Shotokan moves
that left him shaken, and Lyota is faster, smarter, and more accurate
in ALL his moves due to his Shotokan training.

You will see him dominate with Shotokan more and more as he gets
closer to the goal, and that will cause you to squirm.
Start practicing that squirm Curtis.

So even when he doesn't knock the guy out with magical Shotokan
strikes as you described, and used other techniques from other
disciplines to finish the fight, it is still your special martial art
that made it possible?

Yeah, I see where you are at now. You are stuck in your POV and no
counter evidence will sway you. OK, join the group, you are in the
majority in this world.
