I'm no expert (and that's putting it lightly) on Jyotish or AyurVed. However,
I would probably say there are other reasons for the POV's expressed on this
forum. Some post because they are full of ideas and are talkative, but lack
depth of conversation with their surrounding family/friends (as is my case).
This forum is a good outlet for such people. In Vedic Astrology, planets in
Aquarius, especially Mercury and Jupiter, can give rise to overflowing ideas
that are likely to be expressed either in speech or writing. Mercury is a
Vata/Pitta planet, and Jupiter is a Kappha planet. Aquarius is ruled by
Saturn, which is a Vata planet. I would think that Pittas might have too much
steam to blow off in other ways besides the exchange of ideas and information.
Ideas and information belong to the air signs, which are primarily Vata.

That being said, I would say there is some pent up frustration with the world,
the United States, and the overall condition of human life that spurs arguments
and contradictory replies on FFL. The only people I would say may have a Pitta
imbalance would be those who have consistent angry rants.

When I use ayurvedic products I generally get them from Banyan Botanicals -
half the price and just as good as MAPI stuff (I have tried both as well as
other brands)

The last time I ordered from MAPI they charged my credit card four times for
the same order - had to raise hell to get them to give a refund - if you can
imagine after insisting the person I initially got on the phone pass me on to
her supervisor, the supervisor tried to get me to agree to letting them keep
the money so I could just use it later as a credit on my account.

I determined that would be the last time I would ever do business of any kind
with the Movement.

Honestly, I don't see how you are out of line. What is wrong with questioning
things or pointing out your own experience? How can that be a pitta problem?
I can see some may be in denial of your questioning. I find it refreshing. It
brings me more peace by finding the good things I have experienced with the
TMO. Perhaps you can try some Maharishi Vata Tea. I have a cup next me, right
now. :) Yum.

Some people just feel better when they have someone
to talk to, Alex. Why do you think Scientology
auditing is so successful? LoL!

Some people will pay money to have someone listen
to what they have to say. In many cases, people will
pay money just to listen to what someone else says!

Go figure.

Sorry for puns but I think the thighs are considered the seat of vata.
