Argument over dinnerware leads to stabbing December 1, 2013
Richland County, SC — A man has been charged in connection with a stabbing Sunday. Edward William Bright, 47, was charged with assault and battery second degree in connection with the incident, Richland County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Sgt. Curtis Wilson said. Just after 6 p.m. in the 300 block of Lakeridge Parkway, deputies found two men who had allegedly argued over dinnerware to use for a meal when one of the men stabbed the other with a steak knife, Wilson said. The man who was stabbed several times in the upper body was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Wilson said. No other details were available early Sunday night.
