instead of gender stereotypes. I also love the 
choice of title; it's a reminder of that great
bumper-sticker answer to Johnny Gray's silly
book title (and theory), Men are from Earth;
Women are from Earth; Get Over It.  :-)

Anyone who believes that women are the fairer,
less nasty, less vindictive, and less violent
sex has clearly never read Fairfield Life.

Well... unable to read the article for the same reasons, if it takes into 
account market forces on shoe prices, accessories and *bling*, it could very 
well be influenced by stereotypes. Other than that, no comment.
