The blog is virulently anti-Obama, BTW, so take your salt-shaker. The technical stuff looks pretty convincing to me just from the way it's presented, but I have no way of knowing whether it's a snow job. If it is, it's really well done. I don't want to go through all that, but I still don't understand what the motive is supposed to have been.

He'd have to be pretty dumb to try to stage a cover-up like this, and he ain't dumb. If there's any truth to this, it'll come out, as the Edwards thing did.

How do you know it's blue, Curtis? (Heh, heh, heh...) Our culture is one of pure, sanctimonious BS. Unfortunately, it may get even worse before it gets better. Sal

They're saying he was born in Hawaii but attained Indonesian citizenship when he was adopted by his step-father. The adoption means his original birth certificate would have been re-issued with his new adopted surname, Soetoro. The accusation is that they made a forged COLB in order to not draw attention to the Indonesian citizenship issue. That would get him in trouble, if true, but having been born in the US, he's eligible to be POTUS, no matter where else he might have lived.
